“Based in Paris and born out of mythology”, Noir Basic launches a new luxury lifestyle. Inspired by memories, art and historic mysteries, the scene is set, as the beginning of a new saga. The label is meant to offer a modern reinterpretation of timeless pieces, playing on fiction and reality, being master in the concept of transforming jackets.

Noir Basic sees them as armor, second skin, bridging high quality materials and flawless cuts to be worn by an avant-gardist, ruler of its universe. The brand is addressed to “the persona of the lonely rebel who does not belong to a crowd nor does he care about belonging to one, creating his own movement, led by his vision”.

This profile fully fits with Noir Basic’s artists: Neal Fox, whose work depicts a journey through detritus and mythology of pop culture and Rick Genest, renowned as “zombie boy” because of his full body tattoos, being a chiaroscuro of both light and dark, he embodies a new perception of beauty. Then comes the artist and director Marco Brambilla who produces videos of epic proportions in slow motion giving the impression of moving paintings and last but not least, Straulino, photographer, whose models become sculptures, almost abstract, from which a whiff of desire touches conscious and subconscious.

EN NOIR balances the fine line between high-fashion and streetwear. Designer Rob Garcia transforms classic 20th century American sportswear into avant-garde luxury pieces - each distinctive, practical, and seasonless. EN NOIR has its roots in a renowned Parisian factory acclaimed for producing collections for Balmain and Chanel. Garcia focuses on fit, silhouette, detailing and quality; designing utilitarian luxury items that can be worn in multiple ways, year round. EN NOIR’s branding is in the details. With monochromatic t-shirts, leather sweatpants and shorts, high-end luxury outerwear, and cashmere knits, EN NOIR is an archetype for a new type of international multi-cultural luxury.


EN NOIR’s Fall 2013 collection reimagines classic American sportswear for the sleek rebel with a mind for high-fashion. Focusing on luxurious fabrications, tailoring, and avant-garde details, designer Rob Garcia created a richly balanced collection to be worn everyday. Key fabrications include suede, textured leather, quilted cotton, cashmere, and ballistic nylon. The collection’s monochromatic color palette is highlighted with electric blue and wax gradient grey accents. Texture is an important element to the collection, underlining the richness of materials; with mosaic and lizard embossed patterns, and laser cut quilting on leather throughout. A fur varsity jacket, leather trim tuxedo, square neck cashmere sweater, and light weight calfskin leather shirts articulate the core of Garcia’s aesthetic.


Luxury sportswear brand En Noir has quickly ascended to the forefront of the fashion consciousness, with its minimalist philosophy and eye for detail and high-end fabric–from leather to calfskin to fur.
